Q&A - Badges

1. How many must I order?
   Our minimum order is just one.
2. How many colours can I have?
   For printed badges we produce full colour so there is no limit to the number of colours. For embroidered badges we suggest that designs are kept to a maximum of 8 colours.
3. I want to produce list of name badges.
   Simple. Just type in the list in the information box or attach your list via email or through the order box
4. Can I individually personalise the badge?
   Yes – as long as you give us clear instructions.
5. How do I attach the badge?
   Needle and thread is the best method of attaching a cloth badge but we can provide a heat applicable adhesive to the badge so that the badge can be stuck to your garment with a good iron. Velcro can also be attached to the reverse of the badge.
6. Will the print fade?
   No, there should be NO fade even after many washes. The print process puts the image within the material.
7. Can the badge be washed?
   Yes our printed badges can be washed to 50 degrees but not tumbled dried. We recommend that they are pressed on the reverse side. They should not be dry cleaned. Embroidered badges can be washed to 50 Degrees, tumble dried, ironed and dry cleaned.
8. Would I be able to buy more of the same badge?
   Yes we keep details of your program so that repeats can easily be made.
9. What kind of artwork do you require?
   If you have good clean art work that is best, but as long as you send clear instructions then our studio can produce artwork from jpeg, pdf, tif, eps ai, cdr files formats. We will send you an electronic image before production for your final approval. If you have an embroidery program already, we are able to accept all embroidery formats. 10. Will you be able to meet my event deadline?
    We do enjoy a challenge so give us a chance!!!
11. Can I have a different name on each badge?
    Yes we specialise in producing Name badges.
12. Will I get a sample?
    We will send you a digital image of your badge for your approval before production.
13. Can you match our specific colour?
    Whenever possible we match to your colour requests.
14. Could I have a different shape?
    Our standard shapes are circles, squares and rectangles. If you require different shapes email us.
15. I want a different edging colour is that possible?
    This should be possible – email your requirement.
16. Could we have our badges on a felt?
    Yes this is possible – email us with your requirement.
17. Do you make woven badges?
    Yes we make woven badges, but there is a minimum order requirement of 300 badges. If you would like more information regarding our woven badges email us.
18. What do you mean by overlocking?
    To stop the edge of the badge from fraying a stitch is produced which covers the edge of the material. This is known as an overlocking stitch and is produced using a special sewing machine.
19. I only want a few badges – Will that be OK?
    Yes we are pleased to produce any quantity of badges for you.
20. What kind of printing method do you use?
    Our badges are produced digitally using special inks. It allows for photographic quality and full colour.
